About Sri Vallabha Maha Ganapathy Temple

In the year 2019, after the Vinayagar Chaturthi pooja, a devotee from our community, Mr. Prabhakar, experienced a divine spiritual instinct and dream during his prayers. Guided by this divine vision, he placed a Vinayagar idol at the exact spot where the temple now stands. While performing pooja, he witnessed Lord Vinayagar in a standing posture appearing amidst clouds, an experience that deeply inspired him to envision a temple at that sacred location.

With perseverance and faith, Mr. Prabhakar has  approached the landowners, Navins Builders, seeking permission. But, no permission was granted . During the COVID period, he continued performing prayers at the same spot for the well-being of the entire community. Finally, approval was granted, after 3 long years and temple construction began in August 2022 and was completed within 30 days

Elders and Gurukals advised that the Moolavar should traditionally be in a seated posture. During the consecration rituals, while chanting mantras, Mr. Prabhakar instinctively uttered “Sri Vallabha Ganapathaye Namaha” instead of the usual chant. This was accepted as a divine indication, and the Moolavar was installed as Sri Vallabha Maha Ganapathy, blessing devotees with prosperity and wisdom. To honor the earlier divine vision, Narathana Ganapathy was also installed behind the sanctum, with a unique opening allowing sunlight to illuminate both deities. Usually, temples have Brahma, Vishnu, and Dakshinamurthy surrounding the sanctum; however, after consultation, Narathana Ganapathy was installed in place of Vishnu, along with Lakshmi Hayagrivar, especially to bless the many students in the community.

Thats how in 2022, Sri Vallabha Maha Ganapathi Temple was built with  support of residents, Navins, a sacred vision, to create a spiritual home where devotion, culture, and community converge in the divine presence of Lord Ganesha. The temple stands as a beacon of faith, offering devotees a serene and powerful environment to seek blessings, strength, and guidance.

Built in the elegance of traditional South Indian temple architecture, the temple radiates sanctity and tranquillity. From daily poojas to vibrant annual festivals, every ritual here reflects the timeless principles of bhakti (devotion), seva (selfless service), and samskara (cultural heritage). More than a place of worship, the temple has become a hub of collective faith, nurturing spiritual values, cultural identity, and positive community energy.

The Kumbabhishegam of the temple was performed in  31st August 2022, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi, and conducted in accordance with the sacred Agama Shastram, further sanctifying the temple’s spiritual aura.
